The SoS2LearnDBS CLed Open Call is now open, supporting community-led actions to advance the EU Mission “Restore our Ocean and Waters” in the Danube River Basin and Black Sea regions.
What We Fund: Innovative, grassroots projects that empower local communities to tackle environmental and societal challenges through:
Marine habitat restoration
Plastic pollution reduction
Sustainable fisheries
Marine litter tracking and cleanup
Technology, nature-based solutions, and new financing models
Who Can Apply?
Eligible applicants include:
✔ Local/regional authorities, NGOs, and civil society organizations
✔ Educational institutions, SMEs, and research organizations
✔ Ports, fishing communities, tourism organizations, and more
Consortium Requirements:
- Leader: Must be based in one of the eligible countries (Albania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Georgia, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, or Ukraine).
- Partners: Can be from any EU Member State or Horizon Europe-associated country.
Project Duration: 18–30 months.
Funding Tiers:
- Tier 1: €200,000–€400,000 (5+ projects, 1 per region)
- Tier 2: €500,000–€1,000,000 (5+ projects, 1 per region)
