The Common Maritime Agenda (CMA) for the Black Sea aims to promote collaboration in the region on various blue economy sectors and topics. To achieve this, the CMA Steering Group encourages the establishment of Technical Groups of national representatives with targeted expertise. The Technical Groups are crafted to deliver results within set timelines, fostering constructive engagement among members. By involving relevant experts and stakeholders from participating countries, Technical Groups facilitate informed discussions and the effective implementation of actions aligned with the group's focus areas, such as knowledge sharing, projects identification and support, exchange of best practices. While Technical Groups receive operational support from the Black Sea Assistance Mechanism, they are led by the nominated experts. Together, countries can navigate towards achieving shared goals related to blue economy’s specific sectors and topics.
