The European Fisheries Control Agency (EFCA) is a European Union (EU) body established under Regulation (EC) No 768/2005 in order to ensure uniform and effective application of the rules of the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP) by organizing operational coordination of fisheries control and inspection activities by the Member States and to assist them to cooperate. In order to promote a level playing field and cost-effectiveness in the implementation of the CFP, EFCA assist the common development of projects with Member States and the European Commission. EFCA cooperates and give support in areas such as compilation and analysis of data, risk assessment, and compliance evaluation of the landing obligation. In the framework of the assistance in these projects, EFCA will need specific external expertise necessary to offer an optimal support to the Member States and the European Commission.
Call for expressions of interest with a view to drawing up lists of experts to assist in operational coordination activities and assistance in projects on fisheries data analysis, risk assessment and compliance evaluation
Natural persons interested are invited to submit an application in accordance with the rules set out in the notice for the purpose specified. EFCA will draw up a list of experts who meet the criteria laid down in sections IV.2 and IV.3 of the notice.

Through the establishment of a list of external experts, EFCA aims to cover its needs for expertise that may arise in the framework of fisheries data analyses, risk assessment, and compliance evaluation.
