The European Cluster Collaboration Platform, in collaboration with Consulting Cluster Veritas and ICT Cluster Burgas and with support from regional authorities, is hosting the "Clusters Meet Regions" workshop from September 13-15, 2023, in Burgas, Bulgaria.
The key theme of the workshop is "Enhancing cross-sectorial and trans-regional cooperation"
This event, the ninth in the series, will delve into regional priorities such as tourism, ICT, and creative industries. Moreover, it offers a comprehensive overview of the local cluster landscape.
Amid the backdrop of the Covid-19 pandemic, the Russian aggression on Ukraine, and rising energy costs, EU regions and industries are grappling with various challenges. The workshop aims to bolster the visibility of clusters at regional, national, and trans-regional levels, with a particular focus on the Black Sea Region. It seeks to foster collaboration between clusters, SMEs, policymakers, and academia to advance economic policies, accelerate digital transition, and enhance resilience.
The event will link with high-level international projects, including DIGITOUR and ICT Greening Up 2023 Initiative. DIGITOUR aims to boost the tourism sector in Europe through digital tools and innovation. ICT Greening Up 2023 Initiative focuses on greening the ICT sector in the Burgas region.
