We are delighted to announce a special event taking place in Bucharest from October 17th to 19th, 2023. GeoEcoMar, which began as the Romanian Centre for Marine Geology and Geo-ecology in 1993, and later evolved into the National Institute for Research and Development in 1996, is turning 30 this year!
For three decades, GeoEcoMar has been at the forefront of conducting high-quality research in river-delta systems. Its journey commenced with a primary focus on the Danube Delta and the Black Sea and has steadily expanded its research scope over the years.
