Interreg NEXT Black Sea Basin Programme has recently launched a call for project proposals that focuses on its two main priorities: Blue and Smart Region, and Clean and Green Region.
It calls public authorities, bodies governed by public law and non-profit organizations to submit proposals that:
- Develop and enhance research and innovation capacities;
- Promote climate change adaptation and disaster risk prevention;
- Enhance protection and preservation of nature, biodiversity and green infrastructure.
Two webinars are organized for potential applicants to help better understand rules and requirements of the call:
- "Application pack for regular projects", 6 April, 2023
- "Application pack for small scale projects", 11 April, 2023
This first call for proposals represents a key opportunity for blue economy stakeholders of the Black Sea region to apply for funding to get their blue and smart projects supported. Applicants are encouraged to show complementarities and alignment of their proposals with the Common Maritime Agenda for the Black Sea, its main goals and priorities.
