Under the BRIDGE-BS project, funded by the EU Horizon2020 Programme, a series of three webinars is being organised, aimed at upskilling policymakers to support science-based policymaking on sustainable tourism models, and understanding new tourism paradigms in a changing era.
Participants will be introduced to the objectives of BRIDGE-BS and the blue economy sectors of the Black Sea, with a particular focus on sustainable tourism models. These webinars are designed to help decision-makers and policy stakeholders integrate the new knowledge provided by the BRIDGE-BS project into their decision-making processes. By the end of the three webinars, participants will have gained substantial insights into the main challenges facing the Black Sea ecosystem and the role of sustainable tourism models in fostering a more sustainable and resilient Black Sea.
The webinars will be held on Tuesday 1 October, Tuesday 8 October, and Tuesday 22 October 2024 from 10:00 to 12:00 CEST (Brussels time). Find out more and register through the following link: https://eu.jotform.com/form/241933661299365
The training webinars will be organised by the Conference of Peripheral Maritime Regions (CPMR) – an association that brings together more than 150 Regions from 24 States from the European Union and beyond, and is an official interlocutor of the EU institutions – in cooperation with the International Centre for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS) and the Technological Centre for Sea (CETMAR, Spain).
